The Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Department was established to enhance the quality of life of the residents of Vestavia Hills. Whether it’s a pocket park for small children, a community space for seniors, or a world-class athletic facility for competitive sports, we are committed to meeting the recreational needs of the community. The Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Department is governed by the Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Board and is well-supported by the Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Foundation.
The City of Vestavia Hills is home to a variety of recreational amenities: multiple parks and athletic complexes; a Miracle League field; an aquatic complex; a splash pad; nature trails and walking paths; and community centers. In conjunction with individual sports boards, we are honored to provide exciting and creative programming for the young and young-at-heart. From outdoor adventures to community programming, there is truly something for everyone.
